| hi chaps im after some information on marien and berendonk pigeons i believe they are meuleman pigeons has anyone any information or actualy raced these and what distance do they excel at also i hear the van den bosch are a good cross for them but arent the meulemans van den bosch based anyway ? any info would be appreciated lads so get yer thinking caps on |

| hi oldstrain , i think if im right the best marions (spelling) are now the property of petron lofts of west yorkshire i think he bought all his champion birds and are a sprint to middle distance breed , i have a mate back in yorkshire who bougt some and did rather well with them but he was a good flyer any way . go on there web site and have a look . cheers kev |

Darren yes you are correct with the mulemans and the van den bosch raced them myself but they were sprint pigeons the van den bosch big powerful birds just like your aviator mate Marien was karel mulemans son in law and they raced in partnership for a few years but if my memory is correct i think he had a drink problem and killed himself or had an accident which killed him but it was karel who was the pigeon flyer at the end of the day Karel flow with Adriann Wourters at first if you want to know about the breed "Van Den Bosch" then get the Albert Babington Book or the Karel Mulemans Book |

| as far as i was aware the "Van Den Bosch" birds are janssen based, the mulemans are also janssens but weather they are the janssens bros we all know about or just someone with the same popular name i dont know......... mark browns your man to tell you............ |

| derenbonk pigeons are all van den bosch based mate he won a national race with youngsters a few years ago but have not heared about him for a few years now mate
But he did buy the best around at the time van den bosch theat is mate |
