I was going to post about lillers tonight, I have an 09 cock race 1 race youngster 1 race yearling, and 5 this year coming ok, but had 6hours on the wing last week and was late this week 12 hours.....we have had 2 hard races in a row tons of birds missing, My question was would this bird fly lillers in 2 weeks? im not a distance man but would like to try him, can anyone offer some advice, we was a bit light this week 15/20 mph headwind all the way 250 miles took 12 hours. Lillers is about 340 to me. thanks

would I have to get some weight on him for the race, has he had enough flying time, and should I train him in between now and the race? He was a bit thin this week.

well try to get some weight back on him first but dont train just loft fly then see how he is towards the weekend often they tell you if there anything like by flying round home
try adding a few peanuts see how it goes hopes this helps
maybe one of the other lads will let you know more as im not realy a distance man but the rest wont harm him
