| i believe you have to send to every race then they add up all your best results in the races then the one with the highest vel added together wins ,but ive all so seen some come from no where and win the averages because at the last races its been a smash and the bloke who as been at the bottom every week as clocked in and the rest haven,t so don,t count your chickens yet but good luck . |

| thats right kev you must compete in all y/b races and as kev says you can be leading all the way to the last race only to be beaton on a hard day
however im not keen on averages cus the most consistant loft can be winning prizes every week then loose out should they not time at the last race then a loft who hasnt won anything but timed in all races takes the averages
a lot of people sell birds on that form ill leave it to you to decide which is the better loft |

| ray before you start blaming the birds that are missing as usleless which they well may be take a good look at the parents and ask yourself did you pair them because of what they had done or what they had been bred off i'm not trying to give you advice just something you may need to give as a top priority next year you do need to know everything you can about birds you pair together please don't take this as a offence, just a suggestion there is a write up in the bhw last week were the famcier who topped his fed in a500 mile race went through the old bird programme picking his racers with 12 birds not losing any and also getting his 5 birds back he had enter in the 500 mile race it looks like he has got his pairing right but what he has just told me is the winner was bred in november 2009 not raced2010 but trained and raced this year |

| i just think it would be nice for steve to have a chance of winning or to actually win the yb averages, steve as we all know is new to pigeons and this is the first season he has raced his ybs.........it would be very nice for a new starter to win something like this and also very encouraging as he has made hes mark already this season winning 2 1sts and numerous other cards in the first 5. well done steve , keep it up |
