futurity 2012 list

making a list for this race for next year if anybody is interested we have a futurity race for youngbirds everyyear the prize money for this is around £40,000 the max birds anybody can enter is 20 what i propose is this ,you pay £10 per ring this is what they cost through the nehu 1 entry per member i will race these in the club races until the futurity race so they will be well schooled , i will feed these free of charge , the only other thing is you pay to get the bird to me , and if you want to pool in the futurity race, thats up to you any money won goes to the member who entered it,

beleive me this is big money , whats your thoughts

as you know we had one this year and didnt do very good as i had to go into hospital a couple of weeks before, so i wasnt there for them sure things will be better next year

this list is for next years race i can pick the rings up early january and get them posted back off to whoever is interested , if i dont get 20 single entries then members can have more than one see how it goes

So do I breed the yb my self off my own birds then put the rings on them and send the birds to you ?

so are members only allowed one bird per person ian ? the reason why im asking is that to send just one bird will cost about 25 - 35 pounds by courrier, and thats too much for just one bird when it will cost the same to send two birds..........

not putting the mockers on it ian, but just an opinion.

Ill put 4 in if that's ok haha I got a cock bird off a club member hopful he breed the goods

maybe if you live near someone then you can send two and plit the cost the reason iam saying one is to let everyone have a chance to enter my limit i can enter is only 20 if they dont get filled then maybe we can have two each

this is for members on this site only limit is 1 per member for now

we had eight in it 16 birds 2 each

Ooo well if it gos up I carnt afford to send 1 bird at 35 pound

might not be 35 chris, it just depends on where you live and which courrier you get.......altho it will be around 30 pounds anyway.

yes graham sounds like a good idea whats eveyone else,s view on this iam easy either way , would save a lot on costs, also this way all birds will be around the same age , as i will take first round off stock loft be well matured by the time they race in futurity

change of plan with next years futurity race what i propose is this ,each member allowed one ring each for know depending on how things go , you pay £15 per ring , £10 for the ring , and £5 for prize money , if i sell 20 rings then they will be £100 for the first pigeon back to my loft, this will also save on amtrak , whats your thought on this let me know asap so i can get rings ordered , you can also pool your bird in the futurity when the time comes
