this weeks letters bhw

BHW. this week has a interesting letter from DEN CHAMBERS he is asking the secretary and the committee members of the national flying club a number of questions about what happened at the frome marketing station. why do these people have to ask questions through the bhw are they not able to ask the committee themselves now look at his complaints. why were there not enough crates due to extra entries he says the birds could have been put in baskets untill they got more crates.next he's not happy with the way the birds were loaded into the bottom slots as there birds would be the last to get a drink next why were old and young hens put in the same crates next it was pointed out to him that a 3 year cock had been put in with the young hens and one was being scalped he then took it on himself to remove the bird and put in a crate on its own all this from a man who is there to help with the watering feeding and loadingthe issue i have is taking it on himself to remove the cock bird from a crate my eyes are not very good to night so hope you understand what i'm tryin to say

like you say george why dont they open there mouths and be heard

a farce at frome by the sounds of it maybe he put it in the bhw to embarass them into getting their act together in future

thanks lads what i was trying to say if you have 3or 4 complaints why would want to go home and write throuh the BHW surely you would make them known to the officials at the time

i have sent Sid Barkel NFC a E mail asking 3 questions

how was Mr Chambers as a helper able to remove a bird from a crate how was a old bird put in with young birds

how was the owner and the bird reunited after all it must have been on a race sheet will let you know his reply

ian he cannot reply as i'm not a member. i think the removal of a bird by a nonofficial from a crate were the bird had gone through on the race sheet is a very serious breach of the rules no club would even allow a member to remove a bird from the crate what i think is they were unaware of IT untill he wrote to the BHW they will have to reply to him as he is a member
