| That's a bit vague mate and to get a true picture of how matings can produce what, then it's a hell of a lot more complex. It's like opening up a can of worms. |

|  But what you will find with experience, is that some birds carry dominant genes, sex linked genes, recessive genes, sometimes you can pair a blue to a blue and get a pied. You can also pair, lets say a red pied cock, to a red cheq hen and get a whole array of colours. Same as a blue cock and red hen etc. |

| ive never had it, ive asked this before on other sites but either no-one has done it or they have been confused by the question of two blues paired togeather breeding a chequer......... so you have definately bred a cheq from two blue bars gary ? |

| ah right, excellent....ive never heard of it been done before but have thought it piossible as we sometimes get a blue bar with three bars and a slight couple of black flecks on the wings which would make it a cheq with a few more wouldnt it............. |
