some people can try as hard as they can but if the birds are not good enough they still wont win...........it comes down to good birds, and good management.

we all send the birds every week to win but at the end of the day yes you are disapointed if they dont win but its not the end of the world as long as you enjoy them then thats all that matters to some people its everything to win

i agree sean, the aim should be to win every race....whats the point of all the training and looking after them if your not out to do your best in every race....... scratch

pointless.....

yes ian your right, i did train them last year and only had thre races.......but every one of those three races i sent to, my aim was to win all three, Razz

as it happens i was 2nd in one of them, 3rd in the other and the third race was a total disaster for the whole of our fed, but it turned out that if i had clocked my first bird i still would have been in the cards........ Very Happy cheers

Im just happy to fly again after what happened this year, but our aim as usual is to enjoy our birds, the shields fed is rock hard and you have to be at your best just to get on the sheet, but im not intrested in that, just happy to see mine come back, ive had a good season if I race every race as that hasnt happened in years due to work etc but Im always hoping when I send.

yes i agree with what paul is saying ,thats fair enough if lads want to be like this, good luck to them but its not for me..i want mine to win some want them to home....i have to win as well for the money i spend on them and for how many i have..one more thing why do,nt these lads just send their birds as trainers to save themselves some more or are they stall hoping deep down to win like the rest of us
