look people new comers and members alrdy dont wanna see swearing or agurments between members dont look good and what if a father or mother looking for a place for there child to join to ring collect or find out info it ant going to look good if your going to agure with one enuff either take it to pms or just dont talk to eachother simples

It's true. OK some are more experienced than others. There are loads with much less experience than others.
I know sometimes there are stupid questions asked.
Lets look back when we started, did we not ask silly questions.
There are also some that like goad others, trying to get them into a battle of insults.
Hell I've been on the receiving end a few times.
But is it not true to say, that there are those who will never see eye to eye.
So is it not better to agree to disagree.
People moan and complain about the state the fancy is in.
But yet we sometimes behave in a manner that does not reflect good on the fancy as a whole.
I look at this way, we are all ambassadors of the sport we love.
So why can we not act accordingly.
I see everyday, the amount of guests that visit the forum.
It's not surprising they don't want to register, if this is the way we behave.
What happened to the friendly banter, that we all had on here.
Why has it all turned too serious.

Don't get me started on the Club topic.

I raced Pigeons for 31 years.
NOW-when I post an answer- the newbes want to know what My source is for my answer.
MY SOURCE IS BURYED IN THE GARDEN.
SO I find it BEST just not to give a TRUE-HONEST answer.
Let them learn the same way I did.

good post rene, ive found that the more successful a forum becomes ie more members, more topics/posts, the more bickering starts and disagreements happen..........

yes mate and then the site/s start losing its members over it there is no need for it no matter who is in the right or the wrong every one should swollow there pride and appolagise we dont need it on here its a cracking site lets just keep it that way

I hear what you are saying David.
I think it's a great shame, that the more experience fanciers cannot give the less experienced some sound advice, without being slagged off for it.
It's like the pigeon hierarchy don't like to hear fanciers giving good tips to novices.
It's like the secret service.

dont you find it strange tho that a topic about argueing between members becomes very active with lots of members posting............but yet sean posted maybe a dozen very useful and interesting topics a few days ago and got very little feedback..........

i think the biggest problem is newstarters think if they ask questions they will get slagged off when in fact its not the case we where all new starters once
there are no wrong questions ask guys dont be afraid every one has something to offer and will help i would like to see all members come on and have a good discusion on any topic if i can help anyone i will but i dont have all the answers only the wife has them lets all stop this in fighting and help the site grow as the site is for the members benifit and could help all in the sport JMO sean

i have had a lot of good tip;s on here.
that i will give a go to next year. if all is well.
and member;s ready to give there help when i have ask for it.
long my it continue.
