its only one of a few sports wuere the novice has to compete at top level

TRUE IAN, BUT I THINK IT WAS KEN WHO SAID THEY HAD TRIED IN HIS CLUB TO DO A TWO TIER SYSTEM for novices and experienced flyers but the novices mainly didnt want it......so judging by that the only thing to do is if you wan to race, then your in at the deep end and you either win or loose.....thats how it goes, because the top flyers have already found out how to win either by getting their management right or buying good birds.

yes ian i agree, if you can win against the best flyers it would be a great acheivement......but do you think also that if a new starter cant get any wins/positions up near the top they could become dissheartened and maybe pack in ?

then they are not true pigeon men got to put the work in to get rewards
