| as members will have read, the other day i decided to make my own matrtix as i hadnt been able to buy any for well over a week.............i added red and grey grit, red brick, brewers yeast and pink minerals, i then added redband to give the aniseed flavour. ive been giving this now for two days and the birds love it as much as the bought matrix, ive worked out that i buy one tub at £10 per month, this means i spend £120 per year on matrix............i rekon that if i spent 30 - 40 pounds on ingrediants i could make my own which would last a year, so a big saving and its just as good. thanks for the advise to those members who told me about this. |
