The article is being put on PIPA on Thursday, I have just had the thumbs up for the article.
Now lets hope we get some big names appearing on the petition.

We just need something to motivate the fanciers and stop them being so negative all of the time. Something can be done, but we have to get the whole fancy behind it. If every fancier worked as hard as I have been doing, hell, we would have overthrown the government by now.

Spot on there Gary, but you have been working your socks off big time mate, have had a few more sign up from facebook

The Scottish fanciers are divided, they went through all this back in 2004, keeping dead birds in their freezers and the report just got rubbished.
If I could turn them around I suppose it would be a victory.
But it's just like opening up old wounds for them.
I can understand how everyone of them feels.
They were full of fight then and everyone else just let them down, they have a right to feel angry and bitter.
I've spent two days reading their report, the work that went into it was phenomenal. This is why I have tried to take a different approach and get the whole world to help if I have to.

Theres no stopping you now Gary we are all behind you in this situation

hi gary, your making a fantastic effort for this petition, but it jusy goes to prove that most pigeon fanciers would rather moan about the problem and do nothing about it...........some cant even be bothered to sign a petition, ill tell you what gary, if the petition comes to a stop at some point in the future and does nothing.........i for one dont want to hear those who did nothing moaning about bops/hawks, they had their chance and did nothing.............

I'm sick of having save the songbirds banner waved in front of my face.
I sat and watched Braveheart, with the kids this morning.
My god one man made so much noise with the backing of so few. Against a powerful opponent.
Could you imagine it today.
He would just get replies like. Aye Wotever Bill.
lets hope I don't get hung drawn and quartered.

ok, i know the songbird population is dwindling fast because of the hawks etc, but really all we need to be interested in is our pigeons.............the songbird crew never seem to include how racing pigeons are getting slaughtered as far as i know, they fight their own corner like we should.

This is action is for fanciers to fight their own corner.
It is now getting well publicised, but yet they have offered nothing but criticism, why is this??

maybe a defeatest attitude gary, maybe they have signed petitions before and seen nothing achieved, so presume this is just another one which will fail...........OR maybe apathy, they cant be bothered and are leaving the problem to someone else, they would rather watch x factor or some other crap on the tv.

one thing is for sure, the pigeons are worth fighting for, but a big majority of fanciers are not worth wasting your time on........JMO

there are many good fanciers out there maybe a bit disalusioned but they will come on board it will take time but hey Rome where,nt built in a day stick in Gary and you,ll get the support sean

gary, been looking through the enemies websites and found a word they like to use, the word is "vicarious liability" could fanciers not use this legal term against the rspb when they have pigeons killed when exercising around the loft........?
