good morning all

morning G, up early son arn,t we , its a bit misty here at the mo but the sun is trying to get out
and its rather mild all the birds have been cleaned out and had there morning feed there all sitting tight now ready for the big hatch probably mid week there grub at the mo is gem breeding mix with layers pelletts then ill put down a hopper of beans for them when the yb are 7 days old onwards the old birds are on open hole just enjoying them selfs and are flying better every day . cheers all .

Bit overcast here but quite warm.
Am just going to have a chilling day today.

smashing day in the west warm sunshine birds in the bath and they seem to be in very good order

well been out all day at market made a few quid then went to vanlints ffs big mistake lol well not that big had few hours in the miners welfare some great lad 2 .50 a pint snacks ffs what more could ya want oh yes few more beers and dinner at vanlints great day and nice to be in a real mans pub with good bantor

It been a sunny day here and warm also blue skies with no cloud at all

Even cut the grass this afternoon

Overcast but dry am getting ready for the school run.

just come in the house, just carried 30 paving slabs over to the loft...........only another 60 to go................

rung 4 ybs as well but found two eggs still chipping, should have been out yesterday or today, shall i open the eggs and help the ybs out ???

no leave um you may have got ya dates wrong and if they cant hatch out by them selfs then there weak let nature take its course david

Just my way-But- when you have problems with eggs hatching.
Put 3-4 drops on iodine in a gallon of water for them to drink--and give the hen 1/2 a Calium Glutamate tablet ever day after they mate until she lays.

i have helped two youngbirds out this year and both have now been weened but you have to be careful when doing it

thanks for the advise all, but i must admit i helped them out..............

according to my calculations they shgould have been out on sunday, i saw they were chipping out and did think i might have been a day out.........today i went down expecting them to be out by now but found no change in the amount of chipping,i kep checking on them until this afternoon and thought well i either leave them to die or take a chance and help them..........i carefully cracked away the shell untill i saw the head and removed the shell around it leaving the yb in the egg, i did this with both of them and put them back under the parents...........at 5 o clock i went and checked on them and both had made it out of the shell and were looking healthy enough, so well wait and see.........

some will say i did wrong but what have a got to loose ? other than that ive wasted nearly 4 weeks from pairing up and sitting untill now......

Fair play David but i would have still left them mate for me just keep an eye on them and let the members know how they do during the racing season you may have a 1st Fed winner there mate
