What a week Empty
PostSubject: What a week   What a week EmptyTue Feb 28, 2012 10:09 pm

Well it's been a tough 6 days and have been in involved in the biggest battle of the campaign so far.
The Mark Avery Blog.
Thanks to Darren and the other fanciers who contributed to an extremely in depth discussion and to say I took a bit of verbal kicking to start with, would be an understatement.
I would say that we conducted ourselves in a extremely dignified manner and I hope everyone involved gained something from it, I certainly did.
Considering that we were up against 8 Members of Raptor Groups, 1 Retired head of of policy from the forestry commission, 2 from Sorby Breck Ringing Group, 1 from the RSPB and 1 from the National Trust.
I would say we did the fancy proud.
I would say that we are now more than prepared for the months ahead.
I also hope that the others who were involved may have a clearer picture of us fanciers now and in some little way appreciate the struggle that we face on a daily basis.
Thanks guys. cheers
