Notice of Interruption to MSF 60 kHz Time and Frequency Signal
Please
note that the MSF 60 kHz time and frequency signal broadcast from
Anthorn Radio Station will be shut down over the period:
08:00 UTC on Monday 26 March until 20:00 UTC on Friday 6 April
The interruption to the transmission is required to allow maintenance work to be carried out in safety.
The service is expected to be off-air continuously until the evening of Tuesday 3 April, then to be off-air during the daytime only on Wednesday 4 April to Friday 6 April, and normal operation restored from the Friday evening.If
your setting manually this weekend to allow you to use your ETS
remember to set your Conventional Master Timer via TIM and use that to
set the Club System Manually (if your system supports manual setting).
If
the System allows it you can also do a manual strike against the
Conventional Master Timer to produce a Print from the Club System to
compare against the strike on the Conventional Master Timer.
Remember
to get a strike again come race day to reset the Club System against
the Conventional Master Timer and do a print to compare them. This will
allow you to strike the ETS clocks off after the race.
If your not sure what to do, speak to the Manufacturer/Distributor of the ETS system you have to get detailed instructions.
