cheers mate yes thats where they let them off at right enough.

lets hope tomurrow is a better day temps not good in scotland tomurrow but if they get a good start and that north east wind drops a wee bit . we will be ok to go .

Had a terrible race nowt back gutted i dont think the 12.30 lib time helped i hope they work back

Today has been a real bag of mixed fortunes, a few have had 100% returns, while others only a few miles away have reported poor returns, It sounds to me like either a smash race or they have intercepted another lib along the way.

i think your right mate . puting birds off at 12.30 to fly 220 plus miles wasent very smart. they may be down somewhere and you will get them tomurrow . am glad we didnt lib at 12.30 at consett and were 200 miles . better day for them tomurrow . hope they turn up for you

The biggest problem we the fancier face is a lot of the transportes are run by non fanciers who have not got a clue, but another thing is the cost to the fed when there is a hold over because it all costs money

As soon as there is a chance to lib they will due to cost, and now days your birds are in the laps of the gods

That is were that personal touch a convoyer who is a pigeon fancier helps big time in these situations

mee too, v/reetman, dont think it was a good move liberating at 12.30 to do 224 miles when the weather is a bit unstable...........hope they work their way back.

we had a terrible race we fly in liverpool and the race was from kingsdown really poor returns they shouldnt of been liberated

did you time in and how many did you get back

Went to the lofts this morning @7 and still nothing back we dont no the winner but we saw 1 @5hrs,22min hope some work back today

becoming a regular thing now every week, whens the weather going to change......?

Approx. 1,600 birds were liberated from Consett at 09:15.High broken cloud,sun and a light north east wind,birds cleared well.

CHEERS SHOULD BE A GOOD RACE hoping for good returns . cocks second time away so not execting them to come quick . but will get them fit for longer races
