Help me out please

Want to separate my YB's. Haven't done this before but plan to separate my Yb's by sex. Two weeks till the first race...what should be the plan? Let them together when they come home...let them together before basketing...??

Before basketing for about an hour

i let them mix before basketing and on race return seems to settle um after the race ....you could call it a type of open widowhood lol as i got nest bowls scattered in the cocks section and each one has been claimed ...theirs a few bowls in the box perches and a few on the floor ...when the hens go in with the cocks its bedlam lol each cock has their own hen and 1 has 2 lucky boy also have 2 hens paired in the hens section atb

i am going to seperate mine tomorrow and see how it pans out, all are later bred but some of the cocks are showing.

not sure jow it will work out but with the likes of Ray Knight sending next week will need to up the ante

I usually put in a mesh panel in the section divider so they can play up to each other and no contact, it just keeps um interested in each other.
