| wow, these modenas are driving me nuts, have had several rounds of eggs from them, but them seem to bust the eggs all the time...i have finally decided to foster out 2 prs of eggs,in an attempt to actually see if i can get some hatched. have managed to breed fantails..egyptian swifts...saxon croppers..and have some muff tumblers on eggs atm,ive not bred vast quantities of young, but am happy with what ive got so far for my first breeding season with pigeons.
one thing that has surprised me,is the variety of colours of young, that can come from the 1 pair of birds..from a blue pied hen,and a red pied cock..so far ive had a black pied..a yellow pied, and an ash pied...
havent had the time before now to get online much, was having some house improvements done, now thats done,am thinking of getting a shed extention..lol |
