Just been on the phone with my mate Kev, He took his birds training yesterday, they have already had five tosses. Ten miles he took them yesterday morning. when he let them out for a fly last night night he said he had around 19 missing but they were coming back in ones and twos, so it wasn't looking too bad.
Then he said from out of nowhere two Peregrines appeared one above and one headed straight for the loft. They scattered the yb everywhere.
He said they chased the pigeons all directions, he has now estimated about 40 missing today.
He has had them reported in a Southerly direction in Bolton, Warrington, Knutsford and North in Lancaster and Cumbria.
So he is out now on a drive round collecting them.
These pair are in a church steeple in Preston, he has not really had much bother from them up to now. But now I fear the worst for him.
