Anyone racing this weekend...?

well done pleased for you david. well if we get 1 of our two hens today david i will be happy. its along haul 320 miles patches of rain from newcastle to edinburgh right on flight . so will be a good un to get in to the tickets today. its all in the fun to see one coming home and dropping on the loft.

cheers gaz just giving everything a double check out side . just sitting in the conservatory looking on to the loft. flag is fluttering but thats it. overcast but good visability. some rain at edinburgh but thats it.

david they had 355 entrants to start with only 188 made it to the first race many had teams of 6 birds at £150 a bird GERRY FRANCIS had a team of 5 now he has none Alan Darragh who i got my yb off this year had one bird in and it is still there with the 27 left next weeks race is from FRASBURGH about 390 mls NR george

no mine is a yb this is the yearlyings which are from the yb racing last year for that you pay £100 as a yb for the bird to race as yearlying this year would cost a fancier £150 making a total of £250 a bird not cheap racing george

what happens after they have finished racing as yearlings

must be the same for them as for ybs at the end of the yb racing you can enter your bird in the yearling races or it goes to auction with half the money going to the owner and halt to a charity so would think they would go to auction
