It happens mate and sometime you will find one is a hen and the other is a cock, hens are usually the smaller of the two, or maybe one is just greedier than the other.

i have seen my younsters picking up small seed from 17 days old but this is far to early to take away if i was you m8 wait until they are a month old or in fact i would let them wean themselves as their is no reason for you not to do things naturaly as for feed i dont know exactly but i would imagine any pigeon feed that contains a variety of grains and one that has 20% protein for a reasonably balanced diet .jmo atb

hi lads ive had to take the very small out the nest and bring it in the house it looked knackered this morning the big one was warm the little one was very cold, ive got it inside a sock just its head showing ive got it in a shoebox, ive been giving it fresh egg and arrowroot biscuit mashed up through a syringe and dropping small bits of corn in its mouth, its perked up a lot in two hours, the daughter and the bairns are going to take it home and rear it,it would of been a waste of time putting it back in the nest it was defo not getting much food if any.cheers frankie
