| thats all we can do its -4 here at the moment ive never been one for putting a deep litter of straw or anything on the floor but at the moment im tempted just to try and increase the tempreture at least by a couple of degrees Ken |

| its horrible,but coping.water has,nt been frozing as much as i thought.the sooner its gone the better.the lads in scotland will be suffering a lot more than us |

how laong they been paired up gareth....? i had problems last year with the cold, some only laying one egg and some not hatching........i would do as ken says and try some straw on the floor as when ive used it it seems to be a little warmer aktho this year i have bought horse bedding. |

| hi steve, i bought it a couple of weeks ago but havnt put it down yet.....it seems like wood chippings/shavings type of thing, going to put it down in the next day or two. |

| paired up xmas day some have gone down great.mind gota give them a chance its not jurt me having problems this cold snap is effecting every one |

| i was panicing at one point last year gareth, eggs not hatching, only laying one or no eggs at all......theyll lay when they are ready. |
