I would love to handpick birds from about 20 successful fanciers for a sale.
But the trouble is these successful fanciers never sell birds in any amounts.

I would struggle with that mate as went to visit a very good distance loft in April had preordered 6 and had 9 to choose from - took me about hour and half, tried to buy all 9 but the other 3 had been sold :

waste of time mate if you go to a loft look to buy 10 min to race 16 if you can get

the best way to deal with successful fanciers is to try and buy their latebreds off their race teams.
It's worked for me in the past.

sorted that for 2013 already and adding some latebreds so i can move all my middle distance stuff on and having flying out stock

Dont know about that Gaz, lol just picked one or two distance lofts and trying to sort things from them for new stock team and my new stock team can get trained as well just in case

getting shot of the ped crap as usual the crap starts to come up for sale after the breeding season finished this sale will be the first of many sean

i remember a couple of seasons ago at blackpool on there stand they were practically giving there rolands away as the market was saturated, you could pick what you wanted out of crates for about £15 some really nice birds amongst them. i dont know what breed they are selling this time but would think the market has got saturated with them.

the thing that has put me off the stud, is a) the fat welshman who gave the sport such negative press b? setting its own club up! c) letter appeared last year regarding a rival sale of premier belgium birds at blackpool where they stated they sold to this buyer has they werent good enough for the open market, if something isnt good enough for me it goes in the ground, less taking money off people for birds you consider inferior quality.
