V perches in the Widowhood Loft

I were reading a loft report and a fancier has a few V, perches in his widowhood lofts so if a cock doesnt return he shuts the box up and if it dont return he lets one of the cocks that are on the V, perches go in the empty box does any one else do this.

the only thing i heard was one v perch in the widowhood cocks end and the one who sits on it at the end of the week is your pooler,but i think this is wrong myself ,you want your cocks in their boxes and thats all.you do,nt want them siting on v perches or any other perch

We were thinking the same the cocks are better off in there boxes but everyone to there own.

Van reet man if you place 2 V perches one at each end of the widowhood section
allow the cocks to fiht them then the following night say marking night place an
extra cock in the section and watch the cocks perform as they are to much interested
in protecting there box you watch them its a good thing to have but if you are
going to use them dont over do it

I used to have a perch in my old loft it was the winners perch it might sound stupid or far fetched, but its true.
