Hofkens throwback

This is off a Hofkens cross latebred hen about 6 generations down from top pigeon Driebander (3 banded) and it's thrown back after all this time, carrying signs of a 3rd bar. Cock is black un off sean.

Pity was only one full but they just laid 1st egg again last night. It's a cracker though!

craking looking young bird like the 3rd bar check and see if its 11 flighted thats a trait in the hofkens sean

nice healthy looking yb there colin, and a nice clear third bar too...........the hofkens i keep do regularly produce pencil blues but i cant say ive had one yet with such a prominent third bar, although my lefebre dhaenens do regularly breed ybs with the third bar.

Barnie thats a quality youngster mate if i was you give it a few races and keep it for stock study
