weather crap for N.F.C. Carantan

looking like a wash out at the weekend, not good sunday either, nor monday, may not bother, even though i am good to go, everything going as planed, birds paid for aswell, and bouncing, all we need is the big current bun and a south westerly, but it dont look like it will happen?

good birds won at top end thats spent extra days in basket ide say the got brains as well

booked 22 to go, but 4 went missing on sunday from eastbourne, need to check them tonight should be at least 16 possible all 18 ?.

now then david just ckecked them over, decided to send all 18 sheet is filled in all i have to do is basket them in the morning early and go, weather improoving all the time for saturday, i think that there is 70% chance of liberation saturday morning?

had a phone call around dinner today the man said he had one of my birds , the man lives in st helens near liverpool, now this bird was released in eastbourne on sunday, the guy said he would give it a go in a day or two, at five oclock i went to let my y/birds out for exercise, and a red cock was in the corridor, this two had been to eastbourne, last sunday, this now made 19 birds home and 1 in st helens, from 22 enterd at eastbourne, on letting the y/birds out, in walked the dark flyty cock from st helens, around 5-10pm i rang the man back straight away to tell him he was hear, he said he liberated it around 3-00pm , i was so pleased to see this bird, i told him if he came over this weekend there would be a pair of y/birds in it for him, so thanks again jimmy foster see you sunday next. p.s by the way i live in knottingley west yorkshire this bird has had to come back over the pennines to get home.

glad to hear hes arrived home safely edgie, hes done well to make it.......hope he manages to race when hes recovered.

the funny thing is david he is in bloody good condition, if he had been there this morning at 6-30 he would have been on his way to carentan with his loft mates.

He new that from past experiences etc this time he was to smart for you.

just checked the weather for n.f.c. carentan tomorow, my oppinion is they will go early, good visibility all the way to england, and probably first 100 mile inland ,that will do for me ,the name of the game is get them across the channel. the rest the birds will do, they are definatley fit enough remains now weather they are good enough, good look to all who are taking part.
