n.f.c. sec k cholet race

only 39 birds clocked at the moment in sec k , nothing here yet will keep you posted.

just checked the n.f.c. website nothing has changed since this morning, including me not getting a bird, looks like its been a bad one, not to worry still got my yearlings for next year, and a nice looking team of young birds to work on, (45 strong) all bred for the distance.

one thing for sure it has sorted the dead wood out, and that is what i set off to do, what i have left at the end of the year, will be well and truly tested, and worth wintering.

Disappointed for you Edgie, how things turned out etc. Anyone here who has been around awhile would know your thoughts, but you had a bash at it & to some of us here, that means a hell of a lot I suspect.

thats national racing for you edgie the thing with national racing you have to keep sending regardles one minute your down in the dumps the next race you could be in the top ten of the section , its happend to me many a time one day it will be your turn to do well , i know of many a big name around here and futher a field who din,t clock keep the faith and keep sending . cheers kev

nationals are won with top stock top trainers there was 250 grand up for grabs in this years derby it was won by a crap horse take nothing away from it but why was all tgh top jockeys at other meetings with far better rides ok ryon more btop jock won it but when you see likes off faalan skip epson its sad the class showed up at doncaster on the day

just to let you all know, a big thanks to all for your support, i am definatley not dispondent and will not let this glitch stop me, i have had the usual clouts over the years, last year was a sickener with the virus, but here i am still going, and still full of enthusiam after 42 years of racing off and on, got my first bird tonight at 7-20 in good order, no dought some more will turn up over the next day or two, i may not send again this year, but i will be back for another crack at it next year, and with a stronger team.

ive a very good friend who sent 8 his best bird was thice in section i last year yet she hasnt made it yet so sad nationals an d cluds feds even traing where do tnhey go

its more to do with fitness at that distance this early in a cold wet season,chances are the birds back early had more work at the right time ,your time will come ,for sure
