Morning everyone . No bacon butties here Birdy !! I've been to busy. I had a bit of a brain fade  unfortunately "Big time" as I had to go into the city 15mls etc to pick up some items. Being one of the smart brigade ????????  I thought I would toss a few old cocks (75) & kill 2 birds with the one stone so to speak. No sense to it etc as you know I'm not racing. It was bedlam at home, as before I made the fatal decision to basket the cocks up I had already let the hens out etc & then I couldn't get them in being such a nice day here. Released the cocks & raced home down the freeway like a mad man, hoping to be there before they arrived, so I could get the hens in. Was not to be, the cocks most of them anyway arrived home before me (30 minutes) to paradise (Hens every where) as they had not seen one for 12 months etc. A complete shambles one would have to say  & it took me 2 hrs to finaly get the last ones in.
Nothing like a bit of love & what goes with it. Just popped out to look in the lofts as you do when there are perches empty & there were another 4 there, so that makes 3 to come  & if they don't hurry up it will be an all nighter for them & the fog will get them tomorrow morning I suspect. I will let them sleep well tonight & I won't mention to them, that next week I load up with grain again & so they will have a 20 miler which should make them happy (memories). Thou they won't know next time the hens will be locked up & out of sight.
