our last old bird race is tomurrow 500 miles
sent 4 3 cocks and a hen . hoping to see them home weather good so fingers crossed Very Happy

not sure about clocking a winner i be chuffed to see some home the morra mate . its great just to see them coming home from 500 miles on the day for me

Battle is just a few miles inland from Hastings.
The actual battle in 1066 happened there, the only reason it is called the battle of Hastings is because that was the nearest settlement to the site of the battle at the time.
