Will second that boss had a 16 year old cock the old Van Den Bosch lines from Albert Babbington had him in a section on his own and the youngsters were top quality but he would only come into breeding form as soon as the sun started to shine brilliant pigeon

True !!!!!!!! old cocks do breed & breed well etc when looked after. Last week I buried an old cock of mine I'm   to say I just about cried. Yes !!!!!!!!   grown men do cry. 19 years old & he was & a cracker of a pigeon in regards to breeding good distance pigeons. Buried under the lemon tree now "Deep" in a special box on pine needles. Just to make life a bit easier for him, as he has a good sleep.

yes the trick is to only pair them when the weather is nice and warm was looking into the old fellas performances  and it is 20xs over 600 mls and prized every race  and these are all national races   some pigeon one that dreams are made of sean

Beautiful pigeons the Jan ardens thou, I tried one once    couldn't fly over the back fence & that's being polite  . They never took off here & many people had their fingers burnt sadly & the best of them came from Louella stud through a bloke called Brent from Sydney.
