weather today

Been raining through the night and giving heavy showers though out the day   

sun and showers here today but that's normal   

rain on and off most of the day here, heavy rain now as I type...........    

absolutely crap here. I might start building my own ark     

terrible here too , just stopped at the moment but I expect more to come shortly.........    

suns out here, clear blue skies and birds singing.........best part of the day      

plenty of blue sky here today hope the birds r up soon   

much better day today ric down here m8 atb they will be up today but there are 16 liberations from Portland I here so the furthest flyers will go first down to the shortest if they have any sense ...good luck

we were up at 9.30 daz the weather turned snide hear going to be a sticky 1   they will have to work today that's for sure raining bukets now lol

seems a fast race ric going by the kersal vale velocities winner doing 2059 hope you had a good race anyway atb

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that our club were at Portland we fly 222,mile ours were up at 9.30 aswell combine race they let the Derby and Burton fed go 1st @7.35 and they let another Fed go @7.45 flying further than us not a fab of the combine races as they don't give a toss about us further flyers.

sounds like yours were in the same liberation as kersal vale ...winner flying just over 200 miles and they went up at 9.30 ...a lot of liberations at Portland today as I mentioned 16 I think ...far to many for 1 site ,pigeon racing is very disorganised to say the least never the less it was a fast race for the front runners it seems ...hope everyone racing had good returns anyway despite the velocities atb

We are in the same combine as Kersal Vale and a few other short droppers they are a nightmare they let them go at some stupid times never considering us further flyers but luckily for us we didn't send and wont send to any of the races which the combine control.

I went up at 9 30 had a cock Drop in at 3 hours 12 mins was buzzing got down the club and th. e winner done it in 2 59 flying 206 mile v elocity2070 I think lol well gutted but 11out of 12 home so I will send another day

well done rick, hope bird no 12 finds its way back soon.......  

never mind ric ....good returns though mate I am sure the posty will be in the mix again soon enough atb

When I convoyed it was always the furthest flyers to go first and shortest last this gives the birds time to get home plus it give the transporter lads a chance to get home in good time as they have baskets to return also

nice start here today . just been in the loft, dusted my self off and got bk on the bike as they say getting things ready for the channel nxt week

Not rocket science Is it Don    if everyone wishes to give every one a fair chance etc with that approach. Unfortunately I suspect "Dog eat dog" as you will always have someone cutting the strings first & bugger the rest on site, as they say.

Excellant "back on the bike"    I suspect thou Rick, you may just have to peddle a bit faster etc to catch up lost ground.

    One more    & then I'm going to bed. One crap day down here also.  But then I saw it was only 12 degrees in London etc so maybe ???? things aren't all that bad here after all.  

well it looks like we have had r week of summer this year lads    its not stopped raining here for 3 days terrible   

Not looking good here either rain rain and more rain looks like its on for the day  

yes rain again here, these ybs not been out for a day or so but could do with them going out today if possible.............will wait till later to decide
