good luck to all that race this weekend , glad my babys are staying in the loft, so will take advantage of that and vaccinate them.

raced today from portland with the WESRC lib at 12 in a SW wind so a head for me doing about 1240 vel can,t see it being any good but hey ho only a short race for me 47 miles , but the web site did say a peregrine went in to a batch of about 50 birds and was chasing them about the lib site good start hey .

A few minutes behind today lads but was to be expected sent hens on there first race since ybs they come well. now there off to fourgeres with the cocks, feed um up time   hope other members had a goodun   

nevermind ric its all about getting um ready for their target race....


we liberated at 6.20 am from creiff this morning 345 miles to me into a south west wind,so a headwind for us atb to anyone else racing today

that wind is very strong here daz hope she comes for u mate fingers crossed   

just phoned me club sec...only 2 birds home at present race may go into 2 days   we had a few heavy downpours and some thunder and lightning   ah well this is pigeons ...still time yet

hope you get them daz , but this is a different ball game now once you get over 200 miles what with the heavy showers we had and the peregrines they have to contend with they do well just to get home these days , good luck mate .

only 67 birds clocked on the day of liberation and a handful the next day for pooling reasons I would think ....our little hen   turned up this morning    a bit thin but she will be ok after some well deserved tlc ...I don't really know what happened in the race but the birds are well strung out in the result and we went with the welsh birds which adds a twist   

glad she worked in daz ,there to fight another day:D .im at fourgeres this week a good few r going from this loft

Hooray Hooray Hooray    I just new she would keep plugging away etc     to get home to my little mate    O/S. I would suspect a moment of joy when you found her in the loft type of thing.

we are at Coventry this week sending a few hens only a 85 mile dash

im at Niort with the BBC 240mile and Messac with the club 120 mile got 4 in each so fingers crossed and hope they get em up early

was a really nice start here ,clouded over now but at least it keeps the temperature down for the birds gd luck all

my birds up at 8.30 from fougeres around 370 to me ,thinking around 8 and half hours but im usually wrong     

our birds were libbed at 11 o'clock all 5 home in 3 minutes that's them a bit sharper for next weeks elgin race
