| this fellow took prizes as a yb but got injured before his 1st race as a yearling and he now has a gammy wing but he bred a freind a 1st fed winner that was almost white, i have had a few whites over last few years and have tried a few yb out of them with most being gone before the 1st yb race, so most are crap but there is always good and bad just need to find them he is a cooreman a grandson of young joker and he is stunning looking pigeon |

| Was always told that white birds are a sign of weakness within your bred
But as Lee says not all are bad, look at the Young bird National winner of Fountain Head Stud "Champion Virgo" she was a white grizzel |

| There was a stud of white pigeons in the Hull area I believe years back. Logans? Not sure, memory is not what it used to be. Pletinck? However those birds did very well. doubt if colour is a factor. Solway king and others or Galaway king forget now but were grizzles. Maybe in SA when the sun bleaches the feathers perhaps not so good. The only colours I need to see is the underside of the tail as the birds trap. |

| well having only had one and it was your test biird fletch and on the day it went missing we had 3 come back smashed up and he wasnt one of them that bird never put a foot wrong so i think either the hawks or wires claimed him i had very high hopes for that bird im sure it would have been a leading contender but thats pigeons you dont see many of any colour win thats because blues and blue checks out number them by thousands |
