    going back to big egg small egg topic , ihave got two youngbirds around 5 days old one is the right size for its age the other is only half its size my first reaction is to take it out but on the other just wondering if this youngster will amount to anything ,iam going let things go on and see what happens if it grows and matures just see if it will amount to anything who knows i think not but will see

    hi ian i had the same bout 3 years ago the smallest one was my best bird no matter where i sent him he was always in the 1st batch of birds from the races and won for me on many occactions just wished i still had him but a sparrow hawk had him it might of been just a fluke but like you i was in two minds on wot to do but decided to keep it and see wot it would be like im glad i did now

    have this in one of my nests now, for the first few days or so one was a lot bigger than the other but now they are approx 11-12 days old there isnt much difference.........
