Hi Everyone,
Well I got my new birds today  Very Happy 
They are between 28 and 36 days old.
After the disaster with my last lot, i dont know if to keep these for breeding my own stock. confused 
Any advice  study

One could always keep them for breeding etc M/L  Smile Smile but much better to home them I suspect & I would hope you now have a wee bit more experience with the birds & disaster  Crying or Very sad  Crying or Very sad  Crying or Very sad will not stike twice at the same address again, type of thing.  cheers

I would fly them out until September then keep them in for the autumn and winter until april when the sparrowhawk has gone to nest ...that way you will give your birds some freedom and also taking them out of harms way when birds of prey food source is scarce ...a batch of white pigeons must be like a red rag to a bull where hawks and falcons are concerned

Thanks Guys, I will home them .ill start sitting them on the roof of their shed in their basket.
The others must have joined another flock or flew that far they couldnt make it back.  Sad 
I get so worried now cos the others were doing great for 3wks.
They were going a bit further each day. scratch
