| decided to send them all Darren, been told the weather will be decent enough tomorrow, so might as well keep them going........altho if I have the losses ive been having so far tomorrow, then its the end of the yb season for me.
was talking to a few of the club members earlier and it turns out its not only me that's had heavy losses, some of the others have too, including the two highest prize winners....... |

| Have not flown for the last 3 years. Train them hard, any weather. Sorts them out better than any pedigree or eye sign stuff. So have for next year unflown 2 and 3 year olds. Young birds to me are a waste of time and energy. But each to their own. Do send to one loft races. Some success. I remember 1956 in Hartlepool. Got a 3rd position young birds over the channel. 16 years old we basketed in a pub. Those guys were so pissed off they got to fighting. I grabbed a pint of Strongarm and left. Drunk it outside and got the bus home. But times change. Always interesting racing pigeons! |
