weekend racing

where ya racing from lads and lasses ...we are at minstead in Hampshire but my ybs are starting to moult pretty rapidly so will only be sending the later ones about 8 ybs good luck to all that are racing looks like good weather for it

our club is at reed 137 miles this weekend, I wont be sending the season is over for me now.........4 pigeons don't exercise round home, and no point training four birds

Im at mangotsfield 142 to me .the lot r going all 15 lol they have worked well round home this week and was up with there best times with there sharpener toss yesterday so fingers crossed .. good luck to all members racing hopefully the loses might slow down now there a bit more wise

I'm at a place called West Wyalong O/S    300 miles etc & 5000 birds were liberated all together. A bit of brain power shall be required I suspect    as when they hit the general city area here, they will be on a 100 mile front, & as I said to a new member here at the club on thursday night, you tend to live in hope     in this caper "But unfortunately"       you will die in despair, sadly. Time will tell thou I'm   that by nightfall today "The rope" might just be coming out here, if things don't improve.

sounds like a real test for the ybs oz and I hope its not a "hang um high" scenario for you come the end of the day and that you get good returns and maybe clock a good un    ....good luck to ya bud ...my race is only a 65 mile comeback race we put 8 ybs in but it will give them that bit of experience on the transporter atb

I am about 30 miles from that lib point and its been wnw all morning m8 atb

our birds were liberated at 10.30 in a west wind

van reet what r the times over your end pal we went up at 10 mangotsfield 142 mil im thinking around 2.45 to 3 hours ?

think wsw is wrong mate we went up in a light nw so im told   

glad with the way our birds came for their first race got 7 from 8 at the moment

37 from 39 home all came well from both races 114 miles and 115 miles
hope all you lot have good returns seems the birds have settled now and sorted there heads out

We were 1,4,7th today we were doing 1328 we just won on a decimal but on the downside only 13/17 hope some more turn up.

7th club today flying 1350 but gold ring race and breeder buyer in 2 weeks so hopefully ive timed my plan right   pmsl

yeah exactly why I decided to start racing in the 2nd half of the season ric ....we was 9th club two guys took the first 8 but  happy with that for their first race

we just had our last bird arrive at 4pm this afternoon (sunday) looking very tired but ok
