Sir Rene Archer wins 1st & 2nd club.
Rene Archer wins 1st and 2nd from Messac 118 miles on the 02/06/12 with a 2year old Jan Aarden which was lightly raced as a yearling...... Rene also took 1st on the 19/05/12 from Carentan 62 miles with a Barker, his daughters were also 2nd in the same race where they were the only birds home on the day.....Well done to Rene and his daughters.

    The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

    good to hear your starting up again chris, Very Happy , and look forward seeing you on site again........re the van reets, I wouldn't have thought they were the right pigeons for up to 500 miles, shorter races yes if you get the right ones, but distance races I would look for something else.....but that's just my opinion, maybe others will disagree.

    350 miler here today. Nice day. As for strains, doubt if it matters much. Any bird from a proven family are capable of doing it. Won this race with a small Aarden hen years ago. Only day bird in the Fed. Also won it with Grooter cock few years later. Just get birds off a fancier that does the distance well. JMO.

    is the plastic on the loft polycarbonate sheet twin wall or Perspex sheet ...a lot of ventilation in them louver doors atb

    yeah polycarbonate don't condensate so is best to use ...Perspex makes the loft damp due to condensation ,yer doing well m8 and its coming along nicely atb
