just thought I would post this message up which I have received, it may be of interest to some of our members if they are in the area.....

hello, I've been trying to find earlestoen flying club.
everything has changed since the glass barrel days.
I currently occupy 2 allotments on earlestown station, which as far back as i can remember have been used by pigeon fanciers.
my late dad was on there for years, and all his birds have also since died.
so i am giving the lofts up in a few weeks.
there are 3 lofts, and 4 other buildings on there.
thought it would be a shame to knock them down if someone else was looking for allotments for their birds.
i will be going over there at the weekend to start taking the lofts down.
was just a thought.
