| A Fool and his money are easily parted, whether at Blackpool or anywhere else. I have dealt direct with J Halstead for the past 2 yrs Starting at Blackpool and now includes numerous visits down to his lofts. Going forward in my pursuit of long distance success, i am confident that both the pigeons i am bringing in and more importantly the friendship i have established with the above fancier will help me in the future. This all started at Blackpool. |

| Will be great to meet up with a few new faces it is usually at the Gallion Bar in the afternoon
But the show closes at 2.30pm so I would say about 12.30pm at the Gallion Bar
Lets see what everyone thinks??????
A few of you have my number so if you want to text me that's fine |

| I'm there friday afternoon till Sunday morning - only thing I'll be spending decent money on is pigging out on a chinese banquet on friday night! I have bought good pigeons in the past off stallholders including pair of janssens paired together bred 1st and 2nd fed highest velocity over 8000 birds in their very first nest, and a latebred busschaert cock paired to my own stuff that bred 1st Futurity winning £1000. On the other hand I bought a Brasspenning cock at auction, most I ever paid for a pigeon, and he bred zero when paired to proven hens. All part of the fun........ |

| It certainly is, all part of the fun Colin.
Just goes to show that good pigeons can come from anywhere and also that although it is generally expensive to get close to the champion etc, there are no guarantees AT ALL. |

(Hi Tony, happy new yr) Happy new year pal. I only pay attention to the long distance auctions, namely C Gordons, but your absolutely right with what your saying. Lot 50/51 on page 39 a cracking half brother/sister mating on paper. No sign of either being in the basket even though both 2012 rung. Your not telling me he aint bred from them so i suppose it paints its own picture. Still well worth a try in the stock loft for any distance fancier and i will be curious to see what type of money they go for. Like yourself, this year it will be just food and drink for me this year lol. |
