| My wifes friend has a sister over from Aussie two weeks ago. She is suffering although she was born here. The novelty of snow wore off after 2 days. She is here til Spring. |

insulation board between the supports then fixed 1/2 inch plywood to the supports ...no vermin ric as the little Staffordshire patrols lol I have heard some guys have this problem but if you up keep the loft and its a decent height off the ground I don't think its a problem mine is 4 blocks and a fence post off the ground ...the atmosphere in the loft is much drier and warmer and a more constant temperature too throughout the year...I would highly recommend someone to do it especially in our damp climate atb |

| Lofts full of snow. No matter, cold kills bugs, birds always fine. Clean out when it thaws. May be a few weeks yet. |

| Fortunately I use deep litter, shavings, so no soggy floors when it thaws, just a bunch of damp shavings. Aussie pigeons have to be tough also. Heat when I was in Townsville was tremendous. But again, pigeons can just about adapt to anything. |
