Quick & the dead their Hal Smile Smile 10 weeks & it's all over etc. Not much time there to recover  Wink  Wink if things go belly up with the birds. Our program is 20 odd weeks starting the 2nd week of winter here & starts at around 100/120 miles for the shortest flyer Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes me Wink Wink & as you know they are all in the one pot here young birds/old birds type of thing & go out to 600 miles at the end. This year we fly what we call the west track "one of 4 lines" & towards the end of the races we have a large Bay to cross "1000 square miles of water" with flyers at both ends of it racing Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes all together for the gold mine ??? in prize money. The birds at the home end are on a 60 mile north south front & with them coming out of the west the wind can be murderess at times if they decide to go around the bay instead of swimming across it. cheers
