Some years ago I read an article on young birds a team of 80 were took to a patch of ground with trees surrounding the area the ybs were split into two team and placed in two different lofts one with clear glass and the other with frosted glass both teams fed and waterd for six weeks after whitch the doors were opened all most all the team with the clear glass loft were lost and over 3/4 from the frosted glass loft returned over a couple of days

do it make any difference to ybs that are moving on to another loft  if they can  see outside  before they leave   mine  have been able to see outside for about a week now

Not in my view George  Smile  Smile.  One can always soap there wings if one has a concern when first letting them  out at the new loft for the first time. Sort of reminds  Wink  Wink of what they did with the birds in the war years, in regards to moving from place to place type of thing, most soon adapted from what I have read. cheers
