Just out of interest - do you have a family that you have built yourself? If so, how long has it taken to build your family? What sort of strains are they?

we don't get our results until following week as I cant be doing with the nail biters and their bullshit and beertalk our first 3 races we have been 5th 12th 9th all late breds...thing is though results are not everything enjoyment in the hobby is first and foremost well it is here anyway when you got guys sending 30 experienced widowers who are regularly in the top 10 of the fed and we have 3 or 4 of those who send weekly its hard to get a card but when you do it makes it even sweeter so we keep plugging away

Blue sky it's my 2nd season back in the sport, I've had birds gifted from s local fancier, mostly super cracks that get better with age, so I have to be patient with those, also 3 members from here, Ray Peel, old strain and Devo have all gifted me birds.
Also had a few from luella, and a youngen from Tumley loft.
It's gonna take a few years but I will get there in the end.
It's a hobby for me, and I'm loving being back in the sport, what about you mate.

It is a slow old game to build a family, but as you say, great to be back in the sport - me too and loving it.

You have what I call liquorice all sorts "favourite lolly, not" their Boosey which is the way most start out etc I suspect, which from my perspective is not an issue as they say. 5 years should be enough time thou to tell a tale as to the quality you have there in relation to producing a family & if nothing comes to the fore move them on .

glad to hear your enjoying being back in the sport boosey, as others have said, it takes a while to get a team together, so just got to take it steady.......
