need some advice guys

hi guys can any1 help????
we have just got rid of ybs in the loft and i was wondering how long do you leave it before you let them out of the loft to exercise,i also have 25 youngbirds that still need training,when should i start to train them after having ybs

hi ben ybs are best let out as soon as possible after being weaned, you need to let them see the surrounds while they cant fly if possible........also they need to know to come when called for food, as food is the only way to control them at this stage.....

hi david thanks for your reply,i have a big aviary attached to my loft and they r out there 6-8 hours a day still,i was just wondering when to start to train the second team and when to let they fly around the houses

Only a week or so Ben, if they are around 24/28 days. My way is to put a settling cage on the landing board etc which I then place them in for the first week or so, then pick a nice sunny day to let them all out but make sure they are a bit on the hungry side of things thou not starving. Then, depending on what your goal is basket training should not begin till your birds are ranging away from the loft for quite some time, because if you do     things can go "Belly up" quiet quickly    .

ben I would wait 2 weeks before training if the birds have had problems

fly them around home 2 weeks then start training
