glad yo hear things are going well oz we got our first last night as expected so we are up and running

glad to hear their starting to hatch out Darren...

Things going really well on the breeding side, Some really nice youngsters coming through. My plans of floating my Vandenabeele eggs has paid off, this will give me 24 youngsters alone off my Vandenabeele pairs. Time will tell no doubt.

race birds going ok stated to ring some all should be hatched next weekend just paired the stock birds up this morning

Well knackered, i can only hope. I brought stock in that have won over 500 miles in hard races, but they have also bred winners at combine and fed level. I was told these birds love it on the nose, the harder the better. Time will tell, hope for good things to come.

not a good hatch lads only got 6 chipped out of 12 the new stocks eggs were clear apart from 1 pair my own 2 pairs hatched out ...ah well its all sent to try us no good grumbling just need to move on

baffled to be honest the 3 pair that laid clear eggs were brought in a few months ago from the same source ...birds get all they need ,maybe cocks were getting knocked off when filling eggs who knows ...birds had ample space to breed 6 pair in a 14x6 area ...nice big breeding boxes birds look well to

I am sure you will get to the bottom of it Daz, hope they are all full next time, atb with them.

Not what one would desire O/S but a good honest answer etc & I congratulate you & the little there for not guilding the lilly so to speak, as at times one is lead to believe a 100% hatch is quite normal for most of the time & I suspect, truth be told that type of thing for many only happens in fairy land .
Now !!! Interesting     how the 3 pair come from the one source, for me biting once       but never for a second time     so take it from an old fella, go fishing else where next time.

just like to say a big thanks to david for his offer of ybs from myself and Alfie thanks david that should top up the team just nicely nice to get help instead of giving it for a change

no problem Darren, its the least I can do considering all the help and advise you've given me......also medications you have sent me, not taking anything for them plus even paying the postage.

your a credit to this forum for the help you've given, not only to me but to others....and also your input to keep the forum going over the years.
