OLIGOPOLY !!!.

Watching the news here this morning etc & the word Oligopoly came up in the discussion from one of the weasel type speakers as if the dummest of the dummest would know what he was talking about as such. Lost me completely sadly I'm .  So !!!     no cheating now  "No Mr Google" but who has ever used such a word here or would know the meaning etc .

If only O/S Trouble was I never went to university etc to be educated I'm   "I dealt in sh*te" & being  able to know the meaning & to be able to use such a word, when talking the talk, was not my thing unfortunately .

well having not put an end to my curiosity oz I googled the answer it seems it means "the few" but is often used in business terms when a few companies dominate a certain market

something like that anyway

Correct typical of a     you cheated etc but more than likely a word often used while down at your club rooms I suspect.

Results of the old Empire. My daughter visited the UK few years back on a trip. She had to translate to the others when they went through Geordie land! She loved the UK. Same with my wife (Yorkshire) and I. However, one has to go were the work is. We got here via Bermuda then the US. Canadian citizens now but still British at heart.

Yes you need a translator for you to understand us geordies lol

You all need to listen in to a phone conversation between Ray and myself, Geordie and a Welshman, takes us 30 minutes for a 5 minute talk , it's all say that again Ray, or, say that again roy
