| Unless you are freinds with a top flyer no one gets rid of there best
Unless they are finishing in the sport and selling everything |

| yes, seen adverts saying stock pair for sale, bred this and that fed winner but got enough from them and want someone else to get some out of them.......yes i believe that one. you wouldnt get rid of such birds would you. i wouldnt any way.....i also wouldnt breed any ybs for local fanciers as i would be racing against my own birds, and if they were any good you dont want someone competing against you with your own birds do you? i would not hesitate to breed for anyone who didnt live near me or race in the same club/fed.... |

| thats it tho, if a fancier has built up his family of birds and is doing well with them its sillyness to let other locals race the same birds....alright they might not manage them the same but if the birds are good they could still pose a few problems for you racing the same birds.... |

| you cant be mr popular and let others have birds who race against you because like you say its not a cheap hobby is it ? and at least some winnings can be used to feed them and pay their way.... |

| David that is the reason why i have not gone back into the sport at the moment due to the expence, what with having a young family, mortgage ect, just have not got the time and money at the moment |

| yes don i know what you mean, my daughter has left school now and shes at collage so shes not a little kid any more...plus im lucky enough that my house is mine and not on a morgage otherwise as things were a few years ago i wouldnt have been able to spend money on pigeons as home and child were where our money went....(still do when she taps me for money...) seriously tho i wouldnt have dreamt of starting up again a few years ago, and thats without knowing about the expense... |
