BOP Hit my youngsters today, 1 dead 3 missing. good start to the season.

I had to move it Rick, It was in next doors garden. I seen it on the bird it just looked at me as if to say , i am having my dinner here f--k off.

Just had a youngster back at 4.45 pm went missing at 1.00pm. They have only been up and down to the roof 2 times.

sorry to see that dev...its the main reason I wont breed early anymore

The petition is being done by a 16 yr old lad, he started in the sport when he was 5 yrs of age. I signed the petition early this morning, and yes it happened to me and my birds. But i call them my family, and they live on my property so i will do whatever to protect them. Along with many others in the sport.

Ray most here would be feeling the pain as such that Devo has just experienced etc. Especially hard for him I suspect seeing as he is only recently back in the sport. May I say Ray XXX don't be to hard on the one that said it was nature at work here, as perhaps he has seen it happen all too often sadly & has become rather blase about nature at work etc in his own back yard    .

Well like I said..its only nature for anyone to protect their own .I have only been hit a couple of times and been lucky in only losing a couple if birds..if I came across this nearly everyday would devastate me..We had a bloke around ours letting g one attack birds on a daily basis..well if it was mine getting attacked daily it wouldn't have seen the weekend believe me.nature or not..sorry I. M sounding so angry.cause I am..again why should we just sit back and take.why because we are only pigeon men ?...to hell with that

To be honest Boosey, If i start thinking that way, i think i would pack the sport in. But i know its a hard game, and we have to battle against many other aspects that get thrown at us. This will only make me more determined, to have a great team of birds that battle against all before them. And they come out the winners.

In a perfect world Ray all pigeon men would just love to be able to do what you would like to do etc sadly thou for many that's just not possible & to a degree some walk the tight rope etc when letting their birds out as such. Yesterday here as an example I played the staring game with a long pole & a flag with my Gossie mate ??? sitting up my gum tree here, 30 ft above my babies etc. After an hour I won & he flew off, but he know's along with me he will be back another day as such for a feed at his leisure, as he also know's time is on his side. Now !!! A couple of times. is that per week, month/year or life time XXX as I know one bloke that trapped & to a point re-located 150  Falcons & Gossies in a year & he was most fortunate that he had no restrictions with Greenie/Bird loving neighbours like I do.

Well, predators around now again. Safe, have nothing flying just the odd good day. .22 is all ready for when they go out. No one around to complain.
