no, it isn't a true race after this length of time in the basket, and a liberation tomorrow might be cancelled again....I know some might want a race after all the trouble that's been gone to but maybe the birds welfare should come first now.

altho what sort of distance will they be racing, is it far...?

might be fairer on the birds to bring them home......the small window tomorrow might be too small or none existant judging by our forecasts in the uk.

says on mnfc website 17 / 18 birds per crate....and birds are looking ok, I think if they are not let go early tomorrow they should bring them home.

yes its a long time, and if I had birds there I`d be concerned for them by now.......its not far off a week in the basket.

I expect there will be plenty of members complaining over it by now.

yes your right Darren, its things like you mention being cooped up for nearly a week in the basket.....damp, or humid conditions ...it could have an effect a week or so later eh ?

yes good luck whatever they decide.

Differant strokes for differant folks Edgie Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes but that type of thing would never happen in my back yard etc. Interesting thou you mentioned the mental issue/side etc bounce bounce as at the end of the day they are just pigeons & not machines as such.  cheers
