they say now that there is a possible lib in the morning ?, just looked at the weather in that area, guess what pissing it down all morning, also heard on the grape vine that they will not be brought home too much trouble, they will be released from bedhampton on the first available day, even if this means sat or sun

its just madness now, what sort of organisation conduct races like this....it sounds like the money / cost is more important than the birds in the crates, I`m glad ive got none on the transporter.

no lib today, they have just stated on the web site that the convoyers report not to worry about our birds, they are in good order and wait for it getting plenty of exercise in the spacious crates, more favourable for a lib tomorrow, make of that what you will,

strange going on, has there ever been a race like this with birds kept for a week in t he basket, and brought back to UK for a shorter race...?

I`ll bet there are a few fanciers going out of their minds

i think the reason for not bringing these birds home , is all down to the fact that this race is to comemorate the QUEENS BIRTHDAY and come what may they have to have a race, they will have egg on here faces if the press and TV are there to recorde the start of the race, there could well be birds all over the lib site floor ?.

Spot on David she is the Patron of the National Flying Club and does nothing to help promote the sport

exactly don, also of the rpra, and she never says a word about the bops / raptors etc......but then again theres a conflict of interests as shes also patron of the rspb isn't she.

get rid of her I say, she serves no purpose and benefits no one with regards pigeons, but I`ll bet she has something to say on the rspb`s behalf when needed.

With those type of comments I don't like your chances, of being on the honours list this year David & my bones tell me the year after etc your rat sh*te also .

just checked the weather all over the country, apart from the odd small shower the visibility is good to very good and the wind is n.n.west no reason why they cant go for a lib 9-30 to 10-00. as for the honours list , they can shove it as i aint an hipercrit and dont want the royal fammily any how

the royal lofts had chance to do a documentary for tv last year about pigeons but they declined
